Armaddy Castle dates back to the 15th century and has a fine walled garden rhododendrons, azaleas and climbing plants, shrubs and herbaceous perennials. It is surrounded by 200 ha (81 acres) of commercial and amenity woodlands.
Armaddy has had many different owners in its long history. Since 1938 it is in the hands of the Struthers family.
The estate includes also 5 holiday cottages.
The gardens are open for visitors, however the castle is exclusively used as private residence.
