André Brugier, designer and connoisseur works of lacquered works of art,  founded his company in the early 1920s in 74 rue de Sèvres, in Paris.

The workshop, with its 10 employees, is still run by the family. It is famous for its "savoir-faire" and is working for example for the Louvre Museum, le Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Versailles Palace.
