Castle Twickel, around 80 km from Arnhem, is one of the largest country estates in the Netherlands. It is since 1953 a family foundation presently managed and inhabited by Count and Countess zu Castell.
The gardens are open to the public and the castle can only be visited in a restricted manner on appointment.
