Museums & Art Centres, Music
The Charlier Museum is a museum for Belgian art of the end of the 19th century, as well as a venue for concerts. The house was acquired by the art collector Henri van Cutsem in 1890 and was subsequently remodeled by the renowned Art Nouveau architect, Victor Horta.
Van Cutsem left at his death the house to the sculptor Guillaume Charlier, who after his own death bequethed the house to the municipality under condition that the house and its collection should become a museum.
The museum regularly holds concerts.
