Antiques & Art Galleries, Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
Farleys House is a museum and a gallery, surrounded by a sculpture garden. It was the Sussex home of the extraordinary artist couple Lee Miller, Roland Penrose and their son Anthony Penrose. They made it a meeting place for leading artists of the 20th century modern art.
The house contains the family's eclectic collections of art works, whereas the gallery, located in the beautiful old Sussex barn, hosts exhibitions, workshops and events.
The garden, designed for sculpture by Roland Penrose, presents the permanent collection as well as works by contemporary guest artists.
