Luisenpark (41 ha) is a public park, created between 18932-1903, funded by a bequest from the scientist Fuchs, and named after Marie Louise Elisabeth of Prussia (1838-1923). An additional Chinese garden is open since 2001.
The park includes numerous attractions and gardens, including an arboretum, Chinese garden, rose garden, and greenhouses.
It is also a venue for cultural events, such as concerts.
