418 Gallery, established in 2008, promotes contemporary artists and has been from the start dedicated to the Romanian and Eastern European avant-garde of the sixties and seventies, including Abstract Expressionism from the former communist countries in Eastern Europe.
The gallery's founders are Dr Joana Grevers, an art historian of Romanian origin and Guy K. Williamson, an American businessman and art collector.
418 Gallery has a branch in Munich.
