The Amethyst World Maissau, located in its own park and garden, is a tourist attraction, dedicated to the world of gemstones in general, and to the amethyst in particular. The centerpiece of Amethyst Welt Maissau is the world‘s largest exposed Amethyst belt. The easily accessible tunnel (depth of 12 m, length of 40 m), can be visited by guided tour only.
Its Precious Stone House contains the most beautiful gems of all forms, colors and size, and can also be visited by guided tour only.
You can dig for your own gemstones in the park’s grounds.
