Founded in 1946 by Henri Chevalier, a stone mason who was an apprentice of the Tour de France, h.chevalier company specialized first in the restoration of historic stone buildings.

Driven by the both next generations, it has been then developed in masonry and structural systems for the restoration of built heritage and major renovations.
