Ayscoughfee Hall was built in the 15th century for a local patrician and changed hands several times, before it was bought on behalf of the people of Spalding and became a museum. It has 2 ha (5 acres) of gardens.
The gardens include yew hedges, an early ice-house, an ornamental lake, lawns, and the Spalding War Memorial, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens.
The museum is also licensed for wedding ceremonies.
