The Batthyány-castle, built in the 18th century, houses the Dr László Batthyány-Strattman Museum, offering an insight view into the history of the Batthyány family from the 13th century to the present days.
There are dressed mannequins and objects exhibited from the most important family members, together with an extraordinary shoe collection. For example shoes from empress Elisabeth, "Sisi".
