Becov Castle and the Chateau, is a unique complex of historic buildings comprising, the Gothic castle, Renaissance palace and Baroque chateau. It is also famous for its unique reliquary of St. Maurus, which is with the crown jewels one of the most valuable monuments in the country.
Becov castle (or Schloss Petschau), surrounded by a landscape garden, has been in the hands of several families such as the Lords of Osek, the Pluh of Rabštejn, the von Questenberk, the Kounic and the Belgian Dukes of Beaufort.
Becov is also a venue for film & photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...
