Belmont House, built in 1769, was bought in 1801 by General George Harris (later Lord Harris) and stayed in the family ever since. Belmont has three reputedly fine collections: the Armoury Collection, the Cazabon Collection, and a collection of clocks, created by the 5th Lord Harris.
Belmont is also famous for its gardens, consisting of a walled garden, pinetum, wooded areas, formal lawns and a large kitchen garden.
We also have holiday cottages, workshops, woodlands and our farm.
