Berlioz Festival

Berlioz Festival is, since 1979, an annual classical music festival in La côte-Saint-André, the birthplace of the composer Hector Berlioz, during the month of August. It includes a training course for young musicians.
The concerts are ofter held at the Château Louis XI.
In 2009, the Hector Berlioz European Youth Orchestra was founded in 2009 by the festival in order to fulfil the need for an orchestral training course, unique in Europe, for young musicians.
