Brodsworth Hall was built for Charles Sabine Thellosson between 1861 and 1863, as a comfortable Victorian country house in 'Osborne' style. It has been donated by the family in 1990 to the English Heritage, who took great care in restoring the house and gardens.
The house still contains much of its original furnishings.
The gardens include the formal gardens, the rock garden or 'Fem Dell', the Grove, the Victorian Rose Garden, the woodland garden, the statue walks...
