Bruxella 1238

Bruxella 1238 are the remains of a Franciscan monastery, built in 1238, which played an important role in the city’s social and religious life. It contains the tomb of Duke John I of Brabant (1252/1253 – 1294). 

The monastery disappeared during the French revolutionary times.
