Buxton International Festival is an annual summer (July) celebration of opera, music and books at the heart of the English Peak District. It specialises in producing rarely-performed operas by major composers alongside a number of guest productions.
The performances are in the outstandingly beautiful Matcham-designed Buxton Opera House.
