Castle Forchtenstein has always housed the collection of the Esterházy family treasures, which can still be seen here today.
It is still owned by this ancient aristocratic family, together with the Esterházy Palace, the Lackenbach Palace, the St Margarethen Quarry and the Esterházy Vineyards.
