Castle Tambach is since 1806 the residence of the Counts zu Ortenburg. Before the Napoleonic Secularisation It was an important abbey in Baroque-style. Tambach has a well known wild-park, which is open to the public.
The castle itself is inhabited by the zu Ortenburg family, however the beautiful baroque church can be visited. Many country-life events are organised every year.
