The von Buenau family, the owners during in the 16th and 17th centuries, maintained an exclusive court chapel with musicians such as Andreas Hammerschmidt and Daniel Selichius. The garden includes fountains, avenues, sculpture and a tea house. During the flood of 2002 it was completely destroyed. However, huge efforts have been undertaken to restore the park to its former glory.
