Château de Bazoches was build by Jean de Bazoches in 1180, but the site dates back to Roman times. In 1675 it comes into the hands of the famous Marshal Sébastien Le Presle de Vauban, who used his family residence partly as a "research department" with his engineers.
The present owners are both descendants of the Marshal's eldest daughter, Charlotte de Vauban. They keep with care many remembers of their famous ancestor, among a great furniture and opened up the château for the public since 1997.
Château de Bazoches is a venue for corporate and private events, such as dinners, receptions, weddings...
