The Château de Champs with beautiful furniture, Rococo and Chinoiserie decor, surrounded by 85 ha of gardens, is a unique witness of 18th century style of life. The château had many famous owners and received many distinguished guests such as the Princess of Conti, the Dukes de La Vallière, the Marquise de Pompadour in the 18th century, and the writers Diderot, Voltaire, Chateaubriand and Proust.
