Château de Grosbois

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks, Music, Private Collections
Château de Grosbois, mentioned already in 1190, dates from the 17th century. It was expanded and embellied later by the Marchal Berthier, prince of Wagram and his descendants. Their rich collection is still preserved here.

They inhabited the château until 1962 when it was bought by René Ballière. Today it is a training centre for racehorses, an Equestrian Museum and a cultural centre displaying the rich collection and history, including a series of classical concerts every year. Visits on reservation by guided tours.

Château de Grosbois is also a venue for seminars, dinners and receptions.
