Château de Langeais was built in the 10th century and is in a wonderful state of conservation with beautiful furniture, decorations and park, thanks to its last private owner Jacques Siegfried, who gave it to the Institute de France in 1904. Castle and park are open to the public, where numerous cultural events take place.
