Chillington Hall

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Private Collections
Chillington Hall is in the hands of the Giffards family since the year 1178, little over 100 years after three brothers came with Duke William of Normandy to England. The present house dates from the first half of the 18th century, whereas the landscape park and lake were designed in the 1770s by the renowned Lancelot Brown.

Today the Hall is home to John and Crescent Giffard. Supported by their son and heir Charlie they adapt the estate to modern times, while preserving its historical interest and beauty.

The Hall is open to the public for 28 days of the year, and hosts a rich programme of events such as guided walks, craft fairs, corporate and private events, such as dinner parties, weddings...

In addition private tours for groups over 15 people can be arranged.

The park and woodlands are not open for visits.
