Château de Prangins a beautiful 18th century building houses the Swiss National Museum. It was built by Baron Louis Guigner, a Swiss banker who lived in Paris. He received here historical figures like Voltaire and Joseph Bonaparte.

The museum displays castle life in the 18th century and is surrounded by a romantic park and the largest historic vegetable garden in Switzerland.
