Curraghmore House is for more than 800 years in the same family. The present owner, the 8th Marquess of Waterford and his wife are developing the estate by promoting tourism and open the House more frequently.
The estate, with c.2,500 acres (c. 1000 ha) of formal gardens, woodland and grazing fields, is used for different cultural and sporting events such as concerts, lectures, equestrian and gallops.
