Dean's Court

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Dean's Court dates very early back to 705 AD, being part of Saxon monastery of Wimcombe. In 1548 the estate (1,600 ha/4,000 acres) was acquired by John Hanham, MP, and has stayed in the family ever since.

The over 5 ha (13 acres) garden include some remarkable trees, like the American Swamp Cypress and Tulip tree, a fishpond, a herb garden, a serpentine walled organic kitchen garden...

The House and grounds can be visited by guided tour only, at certain dates. In addition, the garden is also open at Garden Open Days (NGS-National Gardens Scheme)

In addition, Deans Court is a venue corporate and private events, receptions, weddings... and has accommodation available.
