The Domaine du Rayol (20 ha) is an experience through Mediterranean or sub-tropical landscapes across the world. At the same time it is also a venue for its summer concerts the 'Soirées Romantiques' music festival.
The garden was first created in 1910 by Parisian businessman Alfred Theodore Courmes. In 1989 the site was acquired by the Conservatoire du Littoral, who started to restore and have the gardens redesigned by the landscape architects Gilles Clément and Philippe Delieu.
