Dorney Court dates back to 1086. It was acquired in 1542 by Sir William Garrard, later Lord Mayor of London. He was an ancestor of the Palmer family, the owners and inhabitants of Dorney Court today.
House, park and gardens are open to the public from May-August. Groups of visitors by private appointment (min 20), are welcome during the remainder of the year.
The Coach House Barn is available for corporate and private events, such as weddings. Dorney Court is an excellent location for feature films, TV and photographic shoots.
