Eltham Palace is the former residence, built in the 1930s in Art Deco style, of the eccentric millionaire couple Stephen and Viriginia Courtauld. The site has been a medieval palace and a Tudor royal residence.
Stephen was a younger brother o the industrialist and founder the Courtauld Institute, Samuel Courtauld
The house has a 6.7 ha (19 acres) garden.
Managed by the English Heritage, the house and garden are open to the public and are a venue for corporate and private events, such as weddings...
