Escher in Het Paleis (Escher in The Palace), is a museum dedicated to the work of the Dutch graphical artist Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972), The museum is housed in a former royal palace and has been in royal hands from 1845 until 1990. It is in particular remembered as the winter residence of Queen Emma (1858 – 1934).
The popular Queen Emma has served as regent during her daughter's (Queen Wilhelmina) minority in the years from 1890 until 1898.
The museum is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as dinners, receptions, weddings...
