The Goethe Museum Düsseldorf, since 1987 located in Schloss Jägerhof, is a devoted to the greatest German poet, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832). The museum is funded by the Anton and Katharina Kippenberg Foundation and the City of Düsseldorf.
It is based on collection of the publisher Anton Kippenberg (1874-1950), consisting of manuscripts, books, art, arts and crafts, and a research library.
