Groombridge Place is a moated house, built in 1662, replacing a castle from the 13th century. The house is surrounded by 81 ha (200 acres) featuring formal gardens, a canal, vineyard, farmland and ancient woodland.
The house remains a private residence, but the gardens, canal, forest and the UK’s longest and tallest treetop walkway, are available for the public.
Groombridge Place is also a venue for TV, Film & Photo shooting, corporate and private events, such as receptions, meetings, weddings...
