Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy, originally founded by Yehudi Menuhin, consists presently of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and the Gstaad Academy.

The Gstaad Menuhin Festival, founded by the famous violinist in 1957, offers in our days more than 50 concerts over a period of seven weeks, with a vast array of famous soloists and ensembles alike. The concerts are held in Gstaad, Saanen and other venues in the Bernese Oberland.

The Gstaad Academy: At Gstaad Academy we offer the complete range of master courses addressed to young professionals, as well as all the «Play@» courses which are aimed at amateur players of all ages. The academy offers masterclasses in Conducting, Piano, Vocal, String and Baroque Music.

Professional students can choose from a selection of customised master courses with opportunities of high-profile performance, while enjoying the platform of a leading international music festival which not only offers master courses but stages top-quality concerts on a daily basis.

Gstaad Festival Orchestra:

The Gstaad Festival Orchestra (GFO) grew out of the vision to spread the innovative, inspiring spirit of the Menuhin Festival abroad and to enable this celebrated annual music festival to resonate on an international platform.
