The Hôtel d'Assézat, an impressive 16th century Renaissance town palace, houses since 1995 the Bemberg Foundation displaying the large personal art collection of wealthy Argentine, Georges Bemberg (1915–2011).
It is one of the major European private collections of paintings, drawings, sculptures, ancient books and furniture, with special focus on Venetian paintings from the 16th and 18th centuries and 19th and early 20th century French paintings.
