Museums & Art Centres, Music
The Harald Sæverud Museum Siljustøl is a museum dedicated to the life and work of Harald Sæverud (1897 – 1992), the renowned composor (Peer Gynt, Rondo Amoroso...), conductor and pianist.

The museum is located on his former country property (70 ha), parted into a museum part, a private part and a large and beautiful outdoor area.

In 1984 the property and part of the house was bequeathed to a foundation, whereas later, in 1993, the property and museum part of the house was transferred to Bergen municipality. The Museum and concert activities are managed by the Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen.
