Holme Pierrepont Hall has been in the hands of the Pierrepont family since around 1280. The house was built around 1500 by Sir William Pierrepont, and is set in 12 ha (30 acres) of parkland. Today the Hall is inhabited by Robert and Charlotte Brackenbury, the 19th generation of owners of Holme Pierrepont Hall
