Holyrood Park is a royal park in central Edinburgh, created in 1541, with a semi-natural vegetation. It is covering 260 ha (650 acres) and was a former 12th century hunting estate. It is open to the public.
It has a number of interesting features, such as Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano, which is the highest point of Edinburgh. Furthermore there are three lochs, the ruined St Anthony's Chapel, the Queen's Drive being the main route through the Park...
