With its relatively newly-founded baroque orchestra (formerly Bach-Collegium Stuttgart) and choir (formerly Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart, now operating together under a joint name, the GAECHINGER CANTOREY, the Academy has reinforced its position.

The other ensemble, the JSB Ensemble (the Young Stuttgart Bach Ensemble), a youth orchestra and choir from over 20 countries has become an important element in the Music Festival Stuttgart, the well-known annual music festival organized by the academy.
