Jenisch Haus was a country seat of the Hamburg senator Martin Johan Jenisch. It was build 1832-1834 based on plans by Franz Gustav Forsmann und Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Now a museum, situated in a beautiful park along the Elbe, it is also a venue for cultural events such as concerts.
The park is Hamburg's oldest landscaped park and a protected area of 43 ha.
Jenisch Haus is also a venue for weddings.
