Killruddery House is the seat of the Brabazon family and presently inhabited by the fifteenth Earl and Countess of Meath, their son Lord Ardee, his wife Lady Ardee and their children. The House and Gardens are open to the public.

Access to the house by guided tour only.

The surrounding Gardens are the only untouched 17th Century gardens in Ireland. The Gardens including the Walled Garden, the Formal Gardens, water features, the Orangery and the Tea Room, are fully accessible to the public. The over 230 ha (800 acres) estate contains also a working farm with cattle, sheep, tillage, forestry and a Farm Market.

The Orangery houses a collection of marble statues brought back from a Grand Tour of Italy from 1830-1850 by the 11th Earl including several classical sculptures and busts of Napoleon, Socrates, William Pitt and Wellington.

Killruddery is used also for many private and cultural events such as a location for movies and TV mini-series, weddings, corporate events and birthdays.

Killruddery Arts was established in 2006 by Fionnuala Aston-Ardee. its aim is to enliven Killruddery’s contemporary culture through the arts in a way that is relevant to people who visit, work and live at Killruddery.

The house is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
