Kozel Castle, built as a Hunting Lodge at the end of the 18th century for Count Johan Adalbert Czernin. Presently it is used as museum and for cultural events such as theatre and concerts.

The castle, surrounded by a large landscape park of 40 ha, has a beautiful interior with al-secco wallpaintings by Antonin Tuvora, original furniture and an important library.

After the death of the builder, the property was inherited by the Counts von Waldstein, in whose hand it stayed until 1945 (see also Nebilovy Castle)
