Krásný Dvůr Castle (German: Schönhof), a seat of the Czernin family until 1945, and surrounded by a 96 ha landscape park, is presently a castle-museum and is also used for many cultural events such as concerts.
Around eighteen rooms and galleries are open with beautiful furniture, porcelain, clocks, glass, silverware, including quality paintings by European and Czech artists such as Vigée-Lebrun and Petr Brandl.
The castle's landscape park was founded in 1783–1793 by Count Johann Rudolf Czernin von und zu Chudenitz, who was very interested in botanics and influenced by his 'Grand-Tour' in 1779. It has also a French garden.
