The Kunstmuseum

The Kunstmuseum (formerly Gemeentemuseum Den Haag), founded in 1866, displays Modern Art, Pottery (Delft) and Glass, 19th and 20th century prints, posters and drawings, fashion items and a a large collection of musical instruments, including a substantial music library.
The Kunstmuseum also manages the GEM-Museum of Contemporary Art and the Fotomuseum Den Haag (The Hague museum for photography).
The building was constructed between 1931–1935, designed by the renowned Dutch architect Berlage.
