Lamport Hall, dating back to 1587 has been the home of the Isham family ever since, until 1976, when the estate came under control of the Lamport Hall Preservation Trust after the death of Sir Gyles Isham.
The House, set in approximately 10 acres of tranquil gardens, is filled with a wealth of outstanding furniture, books, china and paintings collected by the Isham family.
Lamport Hall is a venue for corporate or private events such as weddings and there is also a Museum of Rural Life.
