Leos Janacek International Competition

The Leos Janacek International Competition in Brno is an annual competition named after the famous composer Leoš Janáček for soloists not older than 36 years and with ten disciplines.

The ten disciplines, string quartet, violin, piano, organ, violoncello, double-bass, flute, clarinet, French horn and tubat, take turns regularly in five-year periods.

  • 2017 - piano, organ
  • 2018 - violoncello, double bass
  • 2019 - flute, clarinet
  • 2020 - violin, string quartet
  • 2021 - French horn, tuba
