Lichtenstein Castle

Lichtenstein Castle dates back to 1390 and came into the hands of Count Wilhelm of Württemberg 1839, who then built a German medieval knight’s castle. It was inaugurated in 1842 in presence of the King.
Since 1929, the castle is owned by a BGB company, founded by Dr Wilhelm Duke of Urach Count of Württemberg for technical and legal reasons. The castle can be visited by guided tours.
Lichtenstein Castle is also a venue for events, in particular for weddings.
