Ludwigsburg Favorite Palace, build from 1717–1723, was used for hunting and a summer residence for the Dukes of Würtenberg. It is overlooking the extensive Favoritepark and displays fully preserved Neoclassical interiors.
The palace and gardens are open to the public.
