Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Mansion Huis te Manpad is an aristocratic mansion near Haarlem. It is privately used but can be visited on request in spring and summer.

The estate dated back to 1558 and has been restored several times. Since 1760 it has been in the caring hands of the van Lennep family up to 1953. Thereafter it came in the hands of the diplomat Jan Visser who transferred it to a foundation in order to secure its future. The original park by Linnaeus is still in tact.
